gave 2.5 units Lantus 2 hrs ago, now his +2 is 304. I can't be home till later. I left gravy food out just in case and will have a friend check on him in a few hours.

Taking 20% meter variance into consideration, though he is lower at +2, he may not necessarily have a hugely active cycle. He could just be bobbling about on his bounce, or he may be trying to clear it, it's not really clear cut which way he's heading at the moment.

I do however think it's a great idea to get your friend to check in on him. With the data at hand and the recent dose changes that you have had to make, it's hard to say what he is going g to get up to this morning, so better safe than sorry.

His BS at 7:00 pm just now was 187 so I gave him 2 units. I wanted to be conservative and will be aiming for getting some +6 and 8's to really see what's going on. Thanks again so much everyone for your help! It is immensely appreciated . He obviously had quite a bounce

You can add yesterday's comments right in the cell with the corresponding numbers and then you'll have to color in the cell manually using the little paint can icon.
