Shaak is not eating today

Shaak is not eating today, I have warmed her food and tried to feed her off of my finger, she eats a few bites on her own and then refuses to eat, she will however eat her pure bites dried shrimp. Would it be okay for me to feed her 15 shrimp bites as a meal so I can give her her shot in thirty minutes?

She is negative to keytones and her AMPS was 449, and she has only gone into the 300's for a few days, she is on three units, but if I can't get food into her I certainly don't want to give her 3 units. Should I just reduce her dose to like 1 unit in order to at least get some insulin in her?

I just crumbled about 10 shrimpies onto her food, she has eaten between 1/2 and 3/4 of her food now. So I feel safe in giving her her shot a little later than planned. Thank goodness for pure bites.

3 units doesn't seem to be enough with those red preshots. I'd up it to 3.5. Gotta get into lower numbers.

I agree, I am tempted to do it tonight. I was going to do it a week ago but the advice was to hold off in case she was bouncing. definitely not bouncing though

If after a few days a dose isn't getting you results it's OK to raise it. You don't have to wait along time.

I am experienced with low numbers, Shaak quickly dropped into double digits last year and quickly went into remission within 7 weeks. High numbers, I am totally lost
