+8 121 (very pleased with this number)!!
Back from the vet. I was in/out in less than 30 min including time to pay. They are running Chem 27 with IDEXX SDMA test. His weight was 11#'s - up from 9.8#'s on 10/18/16! I took my used syringes and they took them to dispose of (no charge)!
Gizmo is no worse for ware other than the attitude he currently has. Vet Tech Bill is a little beat up but assured me that the scratches were only "superficial"

. It happened when he was trimming Gizmo's nails.
While Bill drew the blood and trimmed his nails I got to catch up with a couple of the other Techs - Debra is another one that absolutely loves Gizmo. She was the tech that was there after hours when Gizmo had his first panc flare (2013). I got to show Debra, Bill and Libby the spreadsheet. They were
so impressed. Debra even said that it is better than her cat

.
Liz (who is also a tech but is the office manager) was on the phone so I didn't get a chance to catch up with her but I will send her an e-mail this afternoon with another link to Gizmo's SS and update her (and wish her a Merry Christmas). Liz is the one that taught me how to test and loaned me the AlphaTrak meter to get me started.
Gizmo didn't see any vet - really no need. The bw is being sent to INDEXX and the results should be back tomorrow. No urinalysis was done - Tech Bill asked Dr. W if he thought they should and he didn't think it was necessary (fine by me!). Dr. Pratt will review them and email the actual results to me. I can call if I need to discuss any issues I might have.
I gave Gizmo a very small LC snack (teaspoon) at the vets and then when I got home I turned back the autofeeder and let him have his +4.5 snack (I figured he deserved it)
I tested the +8 before the snack.
Everyone keep their fingers crossed for good kidney number!
