Easter Miracle at Tricia's House of Chaos

CINCO IS EATING!!! LIKE A HORSE! Okay, maybe not like a horse, but like Cinco before the cancer came back!

Mark said he scarfed down his t/f/s meal, and he did the same with his breakfast when I came down. I refilled his plate twice, and both servings were demolished. He slowed down after that and has been grazing on the food I gave him at +6. That's an entire 3 oz can of food!!! :):woot: I do think there is a little more air getting through his nostrils - he lifts his head up and sniffs like he can smell something, which he hasn't been doing the past few days. He's also been up on the sofa most of the morning, which is another good sign. I do think the Elspar and Pred have helped (anti-jinx), as well as a hefty dose of L&L vines, so thank you all! :bighug: I made his follow-up appointment for this Thursday, and if this continues, he will most likely get his first dose of the CHOP chemo then.

Harvey's appy was still happy this morning. He ate all his t/f/s meal, and although it took him a little while, he ate all his breakfast, as well as the food he got at +6. :) His eye looks fine this morning - no more rubbing. Happy dances are taking place here at THoC!

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug:

When their appy's are off I think it's one of the hardest things so SUPER glad to hear both are eating good. Vines the meds continue to help and appys stay strong.

They are both still eating! I am pulling the plug as it's so close to shot time. Over the weekend I left food for Cinco out right up till shot time, as I felt it was more important for him to eat than for the PMPS to be non-food influenced. Now that he's eating better, that little indulgence is at an end. Harvey is not happy with me.

What great news! Lymphoma responds so well to chemo and Cinco has proven that to be the case before. Go Cinco and Harvey please continue to be a hoover.

I do this all the time. Nothing is more important than eating when you have a cat who is indifferent to fuds.

Hi Tricia, I'm so happy that both boys are eating and feeling good and that the meds are working. Loved the Easter-basket picture from yesterday. Enjoy the evening. The Deputies will be back on duty soon. The LagoonMeister understands.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

WOOT! It's great to see that both of your guys are eating today! And yippee that little Cinco's schnoz is working better - that can definitely help with his appy.

So glad to hear they're doing well today. We love our little ones. :bighug:

We have green!!!! Or rather, one of us has green. Way to go, Harvey!! :D:D:D That is a huge drop from PMPS, even though it is over 6 hours - I don't know when he hit the lagoon, since we weren't here to test. I hope he doesn't bounce to the moon from this!

Cinco came down a much less dramatic amount. I have a feeling we'll be increasing again soon, but at least we're seeing some yellow and he seems to feel better. AND he's still eating!! :):):) Both boys ate all but one of the meals in their autofeeders while we were gone. They both ate the food I gave them upon our return - although Harvey has taken his time about it. Cinco finally had a poo - a small, slightly messy one while we gone, and a little more, less messy, after we got back (TMI?). That's a relief, as I was worried about constipation, with no poo since the butt washing on Saturday.

Thank you all for visiting and celebrating with us. We are so excited that things are looking up for our Cinco (anti-jinx). Keep the vines coming, please! I promise they won't go to waste. :cat::bighug:
