Yesterday was a mostly low blue day and I reduced the dose in the evening to 1.25u, as I will be monitoring less than usual.
So this morning I get a 103 AMPS, 40pts lower than his +11 I will be getting a +1 to see what he holds in store, but if past performances are anything to go by, I might be busy.

Great place to start this morning's cycle at!!

That 103 is probably more of a "double dip" than a falling number....One of the "quirks" of Lantus is that you can get a PS number that's lower than a previous test, but higher than the nadir

I hope you are right, I was planning on going out this morning, but I can stay home if I need to. He usually Nadirs at around +5 or +6, chances are he's been flat all cycle and the 145 might be an iffy reading or a bit of dawn phen, who knows with these kitties?? Guess this mornings cycle will tell us.

+1.5 82 :D given a tsp of 1.8% LC early in cycle so trying to steer him.
Meant to get a+1 but time slipped by, George came to get me for his test, well it was probably a snack he was after:rolleyes:

He's eaten it and is singing for more in the kitchen. Will get a +2, see how serious he is about this.

+2 73 :Dgiven another Teaspoon of his regular LC 1.8%
Onset for BFG is usually around the +2.5, so want to get some food on board so the insulin has something to get hold of, and we don't go for a shark hunt
 
+3.5 96:D doesn't seem like he has shenanigans in mind for today.:)

I've postponed outing, I should have been on my way by +2, it wasn't urgent and I wanted to see how this cycle was going to play out, especially as yesterday I carbed him up whilst I went out. :)

OH my goodness George! I hate to think if you hadn't reduced. Guess he really did need the reduction. Surf BFG momma has things to do.

Family turned up @ +3
Bfg was in a sociable mood stayed with us while we had supper and chatted he was a big hit with my cousins little girl.

Feel a bit bad that I was distracted and didnt get a ++3.5 or +4, still I think he would have let me know if he was low he usually come asking for food.
