AMPS 256
All was well with my absence yesterday from the house. Sheba's AMPS yesterday morning was 130 which I would normally love, but not so seeing I was out for the day. So I gave her some extra carbs for breakfast and loaded the auto-feeder with some MC food and a drop of honey in a couple of the compartments......probably overkill.....but I felt better walking out the door!! I left her trying to get into the feeder....she could smell the food!
She was pleased to see us on our return and I was pleased to see she was OK. I don't know how you people who work do it. I would have to be giving a lower dose I think. Anyway once out the door I did not worry about her.
We had a lovely day. The weather was hot...35 degrees..but felt less as we were by the harbour. The park is huge running along the foreshore with many old magnificent Morton Bay Fig trees and Norfolk Island Pine trees which provided ample shade to lounge under. The BBQ was delicious and afterwards we all had great fun with egg and spoon races, three legged races and sack races.....haven't laughed so much in ages! Being the harbour there are no waves, but it was still fine for a swim.
Here are a couple of photos........some of the G-kids playing on a surfboard and parents supervising. There is a large marina there in the background which houses hundreds of boats.
