Hi. I KNOW the answer's going to be how important it is to stick to a regular regimen of shot timings, etc. But, life happens and I want to address this before it does.
My work timing is usually pretty predictable. Most of my work is from my home office, which helps. However, this has been a very bad year, fiscally, and I have to take whatever work comes my way for what I do. Sometimes, that means I work East Coast hours (okay, because I'm usually home for those), sometimes West Coast hours - sometimes nights.... you get the drift.
It's rare, but sometimes I have large commutes and have to be out of the home/office at my regular shot time (sometimes, but rarely, 2 hours off), and sometimes I don't get home until after shot time (again, can be as far as 2 hours off).
I KNOW this isn't optimal - not recommended - all that. But it happens. Most often, I do have someone to cover evenings and food timing would probably not be a problem on those days, but the mornings may have no coverage for my regular shot time. I can not afford a pet sitter with diabetes experience, nor do I know any I'd trust, for these days.
My question is... when this happens - and I know it must happen to some of you sometimes... do you adjust the dosages? Do you give a little less, a little more, the same? This all, assuming things are relatively stable, of course - I know nobody can give a set answer for the weird number times...
