Another good start for Crystal, blues all AM cycle except for a slight blip at +2. Very cold and grey here (no chance to see the solar eclispe this morning) so all 4 cats snuggled down on their beds, waiting for the fire to be lit. Managed to get the coconut oil, at least I think so. Had to ask for it and I couldn't find it anywhere in the Bio shop but it was with the cream and cheese. It looks like white thick candlewax but says 100% pure bio coconut oil and something about it becoming liquid at over 25 degrees, so I hope I have the right stuff. The assistant was amazed when I told her what I wanted it for, no doubt she will be repeating the story about some mad English cat lady to her friends. Anyway, I shall wait for it to melt a bit and then introduce it to Crystal's food - smells a bit like a pina colada cocktail so not sure how she will take it. Interesting shop and I managed to find some bio cat food produced by company in Holland, so I bought a can to see if Crystal likes it. Going to have a look on their website later but all the ingredients and percentages are listed on the can and it sounds good, will make a change from raw chicken every day.
I checked with the company, Tatzenladen, that produces the powdered supplement mix that I add to the raw chicken and they also sell dried psyllium and dried pumpkin so I can add them to my next order if the coconut oil doesn't work. They are based in Germany (have an English option on their website) so might be of interest to anyone else in the UK/Europe.
