All is well here in TrixieVille....appy has been absolutely stellar (HUGE anti-jinx), snuggles galore, bright eyes, soft shiny fur
. The gelcap went down on the first try last night
. This morning, she was armed-n-ready, though....but I managed to get it down before all h*** broke lose. She did swat on my final attempt, but fortunately I was quicker than she was - THIS time
!!
I do wonder what sort of infection she's had that the Zeniquin is working so well on. Even though nothing shows up in her urine and her WBC count has been normal, those ABs are definitely correcting something. I just wish I knew what - and I hope this course will be long enough to make the "fix" permanent, since it is definitely a mystery. We have 5 days left - total run of 15 days.
And I find it so hard to believe that her kidneys are as bad as they are, given how she behaves. Her values improved after the last course of ABs, but that test was 10 days after stopping...if going to the vetty didn't cause her to backslide, I would take her before ending this course, just for comparison. But that's not an option....can't make her sick just because I'm curious. So I'm just going to make myself enjoy HER, and forget those stupid numbers...just wish I never knew them! Just thinking out loud here....
We've had some nice "PS" values the last few days. I don't know if that is also connected to the ABs, or if it's because maybe she's actually eating the fuds I leave out! She IS eating a bit more without me holding the plate these days, so maybe she's taking the initiative when I'm not around. Someone always eats the food, but I never know for sure who it is.
I'm off today...housework and kitty snuggles. I've been dilly-dallying all morning, so it's time to get moving - although that's hard to do with Trix on my lap!
Have a great day, L&LL!
