Progress

Losing the pink -
Crystal - 02-11 through 02-24.JPG

Wow Sandy, I'm impressed, thank for your statistics. It's slow progess, but at least it's going in the right direction. Just slipped into the low pinks at +1 at 309. See you at +2.

I'm watching too. Nice run of yellow leading into tonight. :)

A couple of housekeeping notes. You might want to modify the title here to reflect today's date. ;) To modify the title, go to your first post. To the left where you see Thread Tools, there is a little down arrow. If you pick arrow, you can select Edit Title. You can also put the running BG's on the title to so we can see at a glance what the latest is.

And one last thing, a link to today's earlier post. http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/2-25-crystal-dosing-advice-please.133692/#post-1378651 This provides continuity. Next time, do one post for the day, and edit the title with the new data/questions. There's a lot of kitties here so it helps us keep track of who's where.

Righto Wendy, sorry for any confusion. Will do the amendments now.
Hi Tina, I've been following your trials and tribulations with Sami, thanks for popping in and watching our experiment.
See you at +3

Non event is good.
remember, although it appears to be a non event we don't know where Crystal would have gone without the R.
Grab a before bed test and if you can swing it a late cycle test , like +10-ish would be nice.
Next opportunity - 1.5uR

Gotta run - bbl

Thanks for all your help Sandy, I really appreciate it. I don't think I will get a chance to do another R trial until next week, so I'll just carry on with the Lev increases until then.
Just got a +5 at 290. will try to stay awake to get another test in but fading fast as had a terrible night's sleep last night with only 3 hours. Don't like the sound of that +10, would be 04.00 am for me but if I'm lying there looking at the ceiling again I might as well get up and test her.

Perfect.
Each is a learning experience. Lots of value in that.
Indeed. Not having to learn under the duress of a crisis situation is a big plus - you can better absorb it all. 'Slow and steady' is much easier on the nerves than 'fast and furious'

I'm thrilled that all the recent stretches of yellow don't seem to have triggered a trip to the 4th floor. . (anti-jinx)

Now, if Crystal would continue to ease on down and dip a toe into the high blues. . . . .

Wouldn't that be perfect......
Anyway managed to get a +6.5 last night at 307 and just done her PMPS of 367. Paws crossed for some good numbers later. Thanks for looking in last night Marilyn.
btb for a few zzz's

A thought: given that her numbers may slightly rise at the end of a cycle, an option for the R would be to give it around +10 to mitigate that rise a bit.

@Suzanne & Cobb(GA) @julie & punkin (ga)
Hi BJ
thanks for your thoughts on R. I seem to have 2 posts open where people are replying, here is the previous one where Suzanne and Julie are also discussing Crystal's R dosing (towards the end). Might be better to stick to this post now to avoid any confusion.

yesterday's dosing post

I would be interested to hear other people's comments on using R. I have visitors for the weekend so can't really have another go at R dosing until maybe Tuesday/Wednesday. Crystal has been high and flat all day after last night's trial so not quite sure what to make of it.
