Hi,
I have a 10 year old diabetic cat on insuline. I just started to give him Zobaline. Does Zobaline also help as a appetite stimulant? The cat has been diagnose with FIP just 4 weeks ago and lost lot of weight and we have problem feeding him. Any help very much appreciated. We are in Thailand. Thank you.

No Zobaline is not an appetite stimulant.
Maybe your kitty is nauseated and the that is why he is not eating. It is importantly that you treat the nausea first before giving an appetite stimulant. Does your vet have cerenia or ondansetron (zofran) for nausea. With the ondansetron the vet would give you a script and you would get the ondansetron from a human pharmacy.
Can you tell me what insulin and dose your kitty is on and what food you are normally feeding him please?
I will tag @Suzanne & Darcy as she may be able to help with the FIP

Zobaline is a type of vitamin B12 -- specifically, it's methylcobalamin. It's helpful in treating diabetic neuropathy. Like Bron noted, it does not have an effect on appetite.

Zobaline was miraculous when Maggi lost so much of her hind leg strength, took a few weeks and she could jump on the bed again!
