Forgot to ask in my post above, is that a good caliper to get? Don't have a harbor freight in town but this looks very similar to the one they carry. Just a little larger though. @Kris & Teasel not sure if you know, can't remember who all was telling me about these, nor can I find the blasted post over the calipers. Thought I had book marked it but hadn't.

Zeke! I'd just go back down to 2.25 and see how he does as he decided to break a mini bounce this morning which likely gave extra momentum:arghh: He may just like nadirs in the 80's as his happy spot.

No, Meredith, it wasn't me.

I will give him a few days back on the 2.25u dose. Heh, with some of the more frequent testing we have been doing lately, my daughter was up later this morning which allowed me to actually get to sleep in! But of course I am still sitting here in my robe because I haven't had a chance to even consider jumping in the shower so I can dress lol.

Thank you! Looked on the where to find thread and wasn't finding it there and wasn't even thinking about that sticky lol. Making sure I definitely bookmark it this time lol.

+3.5 47 heading back up. Gave a little more HC but he is getting full and didn't eat as much of it this time. :( Testing again in a few minutes for his +4.

Just the drop from AMPS to +2 will likely make him bounce eventually. If he gets full, worse case you can put some honey/karo on his gums but hopefully the next test he'll be over 50 and surf.

Yeah, hopefully he will stay up since we are at +4 now. He really really doesn't like it when I do the syrup lol.

Yeah we are gonna be doing those oddball dosings now it looks like. Hard enough to eyeball 2.25u not about to do that for something smaller.

+5.5 58. Gave some MC this time since he is finally heading up. If next test is still going upwards will stop the MC/HC and then test 30 minutes later to see if still heading that way.

Any chance that the AM was a bit higher than the 2.5?

You've worked for hours to bring Zeke up. I'd pull out some HC, carb him up. He's likely going to bounce anyway.

Looks like Zeke doesn't like the increase. I'd post before shot time tonight asking for interpretation of today's run and advice.

+6.5 72. Finally getting away from the too low numbers. No MC/HC food this time, testing in 30 minutes.

When I first seen the drop, I asked my daughter on his shot just to make sure she didn't look at the dosing wrong on the syringe since she is the one that shot this morning. She did it correctly. The last time he was on this dose, we reduced because we woke to a 35 AMPS. But that had been a little while. I have been giving him HC and MC depending on where his number was. We are finally starting to go up so withholding the HC/MC and testing again soon to see if we are still going the right direction.

Congrats on the reduction. Maybe he'll do better in 2.25 this time.

This late in the cycle I would just try LC. Safe surfing now Zeke! :D

I found calipers really helpful for consistency dosing between people and in those in between doses. Doesn't Harbor Freight ship? We got our calipers at the local metal/woodworking shop. Gave DH an excuse to go shopping there.

Since we are gonna stay back on 2.25u for a bit longer then I was first thinking, gonna order the ones from HF so that way they are a little smaller. Bout to test again so will see how we are doing. As for the LC, it is out if he wants it, but think I probably stuffed him with all the feedings ever 30 minutes lol. Chris had posted earlier on a post on the fb group about draining the gravy out, doing that next time. Might not make Zeke get too full that way.

Wow, I missed the gravy party..........geez Zeke! Congrats on the reduction. Think Bubba can commiserate with Zeke today feeling like a pin cushion........

I got my calipers sent to me from FH and they were quite timely.

Hopefully, he will like the 2.25 dose better this time; it's not uncommon for them to dance back and forth with the same dose a couple of times.

Yeah, we have had a very active morning. :) Was actually planning on going and having lunch with hubby today since he finally got a day off after almost 3 weeks. He at least got to see why some days I don't seem to get a whole lot done around here, lol.

Getting the calipers ordered today. :)

I am looking at this being a good sign. He was already doing pretty good on the 2.25u and since we can't do the full step up the next time we increase obviously, it looks like we are finally starting to get to the dose he likes. The caliper will help us be a lot more consistent on the dose since we are getting there.

+8 156, we are definitely bouncing now. At least I don't have to worry about him dipping too low at this point. Going to test him at +10 so that way with his PMPS can get a better idea of how his PM cycle is going to go. Thinking we will probably be good for shooting though. We usually are after a drop like this. :)

Is it too late for a Late Lunch? Linner?

Sounds like you've had some real excitement! I've been wondering how to get the gravy out and was sure someone knew how to do that. I haven't been on the fb group yet. I'll go on a quest to find that post, but if you know where it is, that would be great! Is it Chris and China who posted that? :-)

What are you meaning for a late lunch or dinner? We free feed so he eats when he wants, other then the 2 hours before his preshot test. :)

Yep, it was @Chris & China, she said to just put the lid back in after you pop it off and squeeze the gravy out into another bowl, the same as you would do to drain a can of tuna. Less filling so you don't have to worry about them not wanting to eat but getting the important gravy down them so you can get their numbers on the rise.

Looks like we will probably have a nice quiet night. Hopefully we will come down to a good number to level out soon. Should have the calipers Tuesday, so will be in good time for when we go for out next adjustment which will need that. Thinking probably 2.35u maybe?

Zeke!!! Get off that trampoline!!!!
