We just recently lost our first diabetic kitty 5 months ago and were just given the diabetic diagnosis on our surviving kitty, Harley. Why are we having to do this again? We have decided to use a different insulin this time plus we have decided to not use the Hills diet as recommended by the vet.
This is so scary!!

Wow, that is a double-whammy for sure.

Welcome, though-- we like to say that this is "the best place you never wanted to be", and it's really true. Hopefully this time we can help make it easier to manage the diagnosis (good job ditching the Hill's first off, by the way!). We are still waiting for insulin from vet, it should be here today as well as a new glucose tester for home. I'm very impatiently waiting till everything has started with her.
