I'm curious about the Zobaline or Xobaline so many are swearing by to heal their cats from neuropathy. All the Zobaline I found only come in 3mg tablets. But, everyone is saying to give 1000 mcg. If you use this, how much do you use and how did you hear of it and where did you hear about giving 1000mcg? My MC Whiskers/Wuti diagnosed 2 mos ago with diab and has bad neuropathy. Been to 2 vets, 1 orthopedic and lastly a neurologist. Next week he goes to an internal medicine specialist. Only cyanacobalamine is given out and it contains cyanide and I don't want to give it to him anymore. After 2 mos, it hasn't worked at all, neither has the cosequin he started 2 mos ago also. I HOPE N PRAY this 5th vet will give it to him because SO MANY swear by methylcobalamine. What can you tell me about it?

You want 'Zobaline' 3mg. That's actually 3000mcg. Once a day until neuropathy lessens then I always moved to once every 3 days or so. You want methylcobalamine rather than cyanocobalamin for cats. I used it with Dakota for his last 4 years until he crossed April 22nd.

I’ve been using it. You want Zobaline, labeled for diabetic cats. My cat’s neuropathy is improving, but it might be due to receiving consistent treatment. There’s no research on methylcobalamine in cats but it works for nerve damage in people. I’ve only used it about a month. I crush one pill into his food.
