I am home now, yes. Not checking the board regularly yet though. Still in recovery mode but getting better day by day. Tuesday was the worst as I was in so much pain I was in tears. Yesterday was definitly better than that.Your avatar just popped up Janet. Are you back at home?
Try not to laugh, the stiches may pop.

Here's some Advil.

I had a hysterectomy. Today is better. I was able to get out of bed myself and I walked to the corner and back. The most painful thing is coughing. omg.Hi Neighbor , Diane from Lyndhurst, I'm sorry to hear you were in so much pain Tuesday, I hope each day gets better, what type of surgery did you have if you don't mind me asking. I hope today will be a better day for you![]()
Sorry to hear that Janet, but I'm glad you were able to take that short walk. I could imagine how painful it is to cough. I hope you feel better as each day goes on ♥I had a hysterectomy. Hi! I'm doing well! Had a small setback when I pulled an oblique muscle from coughing but otherwise doing good. How are you healing Janet? I've been very lucky to this point in my life, one prolonged hospital stay for knee surgery that can now be scoped (a nice scar too) and a hernia procedure in a country club setting that was more about money than anything else. The aneurysm thing was no drama at all, I could have driven home that night.
I'll soon be a senior citizen, you're only young once but you can be immature forever, and we eventually want to end up in a bungalow. I need one and possibly both knees replaced, I never want to see stairs ever again.
Remember your cod liver oil and don't sit too close to the TV, it causes lower back hair growth. I read that in Readers Digest, how can it not be true?![]()

Hope you don’t have allergies, because sneezing after abdominal surgery is no fun either. Sending healing vines. Hope someone is pampering you, and bringing you breakfast in bed. If there was ever a time for takeout, post surgery is definitely it!I had a hysterectomy. Today is better. I was able to get out of bed myself and I walked to the corner and back. Ha ha I don't really sneeze from allergies much, but I had a cold leading up to it and coughed non stop for 5 days.... Which caused me to pull am oblique muscle. Ouch. Now that the coughing has subsided I'm doing good! Although it's all getting itchy now, but that's better than pain. Hi! Yes I do have help.I went through a hysterectomy last year, and most recently an oophorectomy. I empathize! Take it easy on yourself. Hope you have help at home to deal with the kitties and to help you do basic things like get out of bed or open windows. Sending lots of healing thoughts your way, Janet, and wishes for the speediest of recoveries.![]()
I am feeling SO much better now, thanks for asking! The hospital gave me warming packs to take home, those seemed to help me more than ice. Try to take it easy and you'll be scooping like you've never scooped before!Hi! Yes I do have help.. I may have over done it with bending the other day and am back on ice packs last night. I was picking up cat toys and kid toys to send roomba around. Oof.... But overall doing very well. I really want to change out the bathroom litterbox but I won't. Ha ha ha after day three I have been able to get out of bed ok on my own. Being a woman can be hard! My next time around I'm coming back as a cat. Hope you are healing good!

Isn't that an amazing feeling?!oh I'm glad you're doing well!
What I've found most comfortable is a heating pad on my back and ice on my tummy.... It's helping the swelling go down quickly. I don't look 5 months pregnant anymore! Lol
