Hi all. I am at a loss for words as ive told everyone before my Nina had a severe hypo episode last week and was in hospital for almost 5 days and was returned home for about 4/5 days. Docs said aside from the hypoglycemia she had rapid heartbeat/breathing they were unclear of why they considered asthma as she has had rapid breathing long before the hypo i brang up to my vet .. on her xray back in feb was a mark in her lungs that we werent sure of but the vet was not alarmed and we wanted to worry about the diabetes firsthand. Now with all that has happened with the hypo we are seeing increased breathing more & more she has been on a steroid with no improvement. Long story short yest she let out a yowel and was panting out of her mouth. We brang her to the hospital immediately where they had her in an oxygen tank and heart failure medicine (just incase that was what was happening) through the night shes shown little to no improvement. She is in pain. She is panting. And they are out of options as a bronchial dialeter has also been tried with no success. The vet here believes it is wrong to take her home and perhaps pass in pain and that it may be best we put her to sleep. I just dont know what the right decision is. My heart is hurting thinking I will be losing my girl for good
im not asking for answers just if she is in pain and cant breath is this the best option? Thank you all for listening.
