Hi all. Just created spreadsheet. SLGS/TR or what I'm doing is neither. The vet really isn't much help. We are up to 4 units of lantus twice daily 630a/p. Vet says if numbers are 150-200 3 units, <150 hold dose until up to 150 or 200 and then give 3 or 4 units of lantus. We use the freestyle libre so its not difficult getting frequent tests as Oliver tolerates it but would rather not. Sometimes it takes my husband and I to get an ear stick. I just changed his feeding schedule this evening from 2 large meals a day to 5 smaller meals. I just created spreadsheet this evening. I have alarm clocks set to check sugar every hour now (except while sleeping) just to see where he is at. I'm hoping that with your help I can get him on a better system for giving lantus.
