I checked Wiggle Worm's BG tonight after not giving him any insulin this morning. It was 195. I had to feed him because he was starving. Should I give him 1 unit or .5?

I think .5. Your amps and pmps are almost the same number.

Wow good for you and Wiggle Worm, you will need to start getting ready to micro dose Wiggle Worm. Do you have the U100 syringes with the half unit markings yet? and the conversion chart? If you don't I can give you the information of what to get.

I guess I don't know what the micro dosing is. Can you explain that a little to me?

Micro dosing is giving smaller doses than 1 unit. Some here are shooting .2 unit and even less.

Since the smaller doses are harder to see we switch to U100 syringes with 1/2 unit markings and use a conversion chart to measure the dose.
