i'm just wondering if i could shave a small patch on jose somewhere & get the blood sample that way? i have seen the video using a paw, but as agreeable as my sweet jose is there is NO getting near her feet!
why the ear for blood draw?

Tracy,
The ears and paws have the most capillaries under the skin which is where we get the blood. I don't think there's really much of another place that has those close to the surface. Do you have a concern with her ears? You're NOT going to 'mess them up'.
