I was just on his SS and looking at his numbers and it's discouraging, we stopped all dry food on 2/13/13 and while the numbers looks somewhat better he is still not in any regular pattern. I have been watching like a hawk, testing his BG like crazy and ketones. I start a new part time job next week and then starting back to school next month. I am beyond scared of how this is going to go. We handled the time change thing great so that is a plus. He is happy, playful and lovey. At almost 16 I am wondering if it's too late to get him to somewhat steady numbers and if he will end up with other diabetic health issues because of this? His teeth are fine, have not need blood work in awhile (he is prone to UTI) but since no more dry he has been good with not having bladder issues.
I guess I just need to talk about this with you guys who have been helping and those who may feel the same way.
I welcome all advise and suggestions for Loki and myself to deal with this.
Thanks for reading.
