DCIN has a pretty white boy with one blue & one green eye that needs a home. His owners surrendered him, I guess because of the diabetes DX & they were gonna PTS that same day! I think he only has this weekend. :cry:
Doesn't someone need another cat? :smile:

Ugh...this kinda stuff breaks my heart! I need to quit looking at their page...I want them all! I've really thought about adopting another one but I'm worried it will annoy Thumper.

I wish I could say I am. Several years ago, I lived in Modesto. But now I'm in Utah. T.T Here's hoping you can find someone to rescue the sweet little boy.

I just saw this, but it says they have someone who can foster, if it falls out I might be able to foster but have no idea where I would put him? Barbara, my family says I don't need any help, I do this on my own!!

I'm south of San Jose, so like 1 1/2 hrs or so. I am too tapped out financially & emotionally to take on any new pets right now though, let alone with health issues. I hate feeling this way, but it's where I am right now and for the forseeable future. It's heartbreaking not to be able to save all, or any, of the kitties that need homes. :YMSIGH: I try not to look at the pictures, and I'll send up a prayer that the foster works out!!!

I'm pretty sure there are other peeps in the area though - did you post on Health too? If you go up to Members in the top right of the page (next to Logout) you can sort by location and look for SF peeps there to PM. It is a pain though b/c not everyone uses the same format for their location, so it's not all in one spot when you sort. But still it is a help if you are looking for someone in a specific location.

I know exactly how you feel! I think I'm gonna have to quit looking at the pics too cause then I get that face in my head & start obsessing about it. :YMSIGH: There are just soo many out there!

I saw the white kitty and posted on FB.
I get on and post almost every day for cats and dogs in kill shelters especially ones that use the gas chamber, just horrific!
I have to take a break sometimes it gets so depressing and overwhelmingly sad. But on the chance one will be saved, its worth it.
Hope the white kitty finds a new home or foster. He is very cute too.
