Whiskey is at 170!!

I had a family emergency and lots of chaos the past couple of days--I did not get a chance to either test Whiskey or give him insulin yesterday but today, when I tested him, he was at 170! This is good, right?
 
And btw I am going to do a curve soon --I think my new test strips for the Relion may have come in. My landlord said I had a package in the apartment management office.
 
I had heard that a pre-test reading of under 200 was considered good by others on this site. Hope all is well with your family and Whiskey is doing good too.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
170 is pretty good but still a little high

We want them in the 50-120 range (on a human meter) or 68- about 150 (on a pet meter)
