Where to buy Prozinc in Denver

Can anyone help. My vet only gives prescriptions for Prozinc and the vets I call say the prescription doesn't matter, Chong wil have to come in for an exam. I don't want to bring her into another vet just to get Prozinc when I have a prescription and vet. Pharmacies I've called don't carry it. Does anyone know where I can buy Prozinc in or around Denver?

How strange. Vets have to order the stuff, or we can order it online. I'm wondering if the vet is slightly confused (thinking it's one of the Ls you can get filled at regular pharmacies). Have you checked with the Vet's office personnel?
 
Apparently ProZinc has been out of stock from the manufacturer. The Vet Pharmacies I could normally buy from either are out of it or you have to be a patient of theirs. The Vets that have some in stock require an exam, even if you have a prescription for it. So in the Vet world, I can either change my vet and go to another vet for an exam or I can change the insulin.

I have never bought any meds on line. Can anyone recommend an on line pharmacy? I'm told by the manufacturer that they don't sell ProZinc to regular pharmacies. Has anyone ever been able to buy ProZinc from a human pharmacy?

I have some left but I have dropped it twice and was concerned about it's potency. Chong's numbers are up in the 300's which is not normal for her and I'm close to the end of the bottle so was just going to replace it.

Chong has Pancreatitis and it might be flaring. She seems under the weather lately. Urinalysis about a month ago, blood work in March. All fine.

I have seen others say that sometimes Costco carries ProZinc; you might call around to see. Is it sure ProZinc that is getting hard to find or PZI? I have heard they will not be making compounded PZI any more.

I got mine from the vet. Can your vet call some other vets for you and get some? They should be willing to help each other out....
