Hi, I was wondering if anyone lives in the central Florida area that uses Prozinc and if so, if they have found a pharmacy, etc. that sells it. I ordered my last Prozinc online, but you have to pay a pretty hefty shipping fee. I called Costco pharmacy, but they did not have it. Thanks for your help!

Thanks Sue, I did call Costco and they did not carry it here. I will check with my vet, maybe it's a little cheaper than online. (doubt it)

Lynn, find the cheapest price online and then ask your vet if he will match that price. My vet's office will do that. You could at least try it.

Good advice Bobbie! I went ahead an ordered online this time, my vet sent me to their online pharmacy and it was higher, but next time I will see if they will match the online price. They get you with the shipping online, which I understand, because it has to be shipped overnight and kept cold. Expensive day for sugar kitty...insulin, test strips, syringes, food....but he is worth it! :cat: :D How is Bubba feeling today? Any problems with his post dental visit? Rupert had an 83 today at +6!! :joyful: Now if he would just stay out of the pink or red this PMPS, I would go to sleep a happy lady! :joyful:

It's worth a try asking.......what is the online price if you don't mind me asking? I went ahead and bought it from my vet again and the price was $112. Another thought is, if your Costco doesn't have it, could they order for you in the future? Bubba is back to his old tricks again with weird numbers. Last night was a crazy drop at +3 then a big jump up at +6. This morning a bounce and right now for his PMPS I am waiting for him to come up. He was 145! Go figure! I did increase his dose this morning a bit. He's killing me! He is not revealing a pattern to me, just a puzzle!

I paid the same, $112, which included shipping, so you got a fair price from your vet. Would he sell it for the actual cost of the insulin which was $92? You would save some anyway. Worth a try and I will next time. Bubba is a mystery and so is Rupert, he gets up into the high 300 and 400's, but than throws out a 83! I can't figure out Rupert's pattern either. He has no access to any food, but his wet, there is NO kibble in the house and I leave nothing out on counters, even lock my cabinet in the kitchen. No hunting either, he is indoors. I also stand guard during feeding time, no chance of getting into the other cat's food, which is low carb wet also, but I control his portions, so don't want him eating their's, which he would if I let him. lol Hopefully we will see a pattern soon and get them better regulated. It is tiring and stressful though and I feel like I am letting him down somehow. :( Hang in there as I will and we will prevail eventually! :bighug:
