Wheezing Noises

Wondering if anyone has ever had this. Buddy does this breathing noise after he's done eating and/or after he gets his insulin.

He's always very relaxed when he does it, and it's on the exhale. There is no nasal discharge or sneezing going on either. it does go away after a few minutes.

We just don't know what it is.

It sounds like he's very relaxed/content/comfortable...almost like a mini snore. If it's not often or causing issues, I wouldn't worry.

Unless maybe I'm not hearing the sound you mean? I don't hear anything that sounds like a wheeze

For what it's worth, that sounds exactly like my 18 year old when she is snoring. I've asked my vet about it (as she's only recently started to do it) and he said not to worry. Granted, she is asleep and your kitty is awake.

Magic does this too and has since he was a kitten. Vet couldn't find anything wrong and said it could be allergies. However, it doesn't seem to be seasonal or anything.
