Wow, Sue. This is wild. You are sure the meter is working?

I hate for you to completely skip, but you just don't know what he will do. What are you thinking? .5 or a drop or skip? If you give a shot, can you monitor some tonight?

It's the same meter we've been using. I suppose I could give a small shot. 1U or .5U. We've done those before when I got the conversion chart mixed up between the U100 and the U40's.

I think it really depends on what you get. He could be 100 when you test, or 400. If he's 400 you could probably go with a normal dose like 2.5. If he is low (but above 150), I'd shoot at least 1u. Yesterday you shot a full 2.5 on a 128 and he did ok (DON'T repeat that, LOL... but still). I might go with 1.75 or 2 just to be able to sleep soundly. And if you have to skip the shot, skip it. Not ideal, but not the end of the world either.

Got to add.... Lori would be very proud tonight :YMHUG: She taught you well

OMG.... I was just rereading my post and thinking "400 is really unrealistic, how could he be that high... why did I write that?" and then I read your post.

LLLLOOOOLLLL

He likes his high #s! I'm thinking the low PS was maybe a dose too high sign, and now he's zoomed once he hit poop-out point. Good duration though, so that's nice to see (if that's the correct interpretation). Now that you're on 2.5 I might try that for tomorrow and see what happens, maybe you will still see a good nadir. Ok, NOW the broken record signs off.

Lemme just throw this out there, we got a low reading the other night on a real small drop of blood, so small I thought the meter might error. Then when we re-tested right away, the reading was higher.
Just a possibility that a too small drop of blood gives a low reading?

Another great number, Sue. So if tonight you get another high, I think I would be tempted to go with a lower dose - say 1 or 1.5 to see if that will give you a shootable number am and pm. Does make you wonder if he was lower than 63 overnight ( :o or is just getting a really long surf......
