what are the best freezedried chicken treats?

I want to order from Amazon because they are hard to find around here and they carry a bunch of different brands, Halo being one of them. Does anybody order from Amazon and what do you get?

A good online place to get healthy low carb treats is http://www.onlynaturalpet.com :smile: They have several good treats, from various brands of freeze dried meat treats to crispy Poultry Crispies to grain-free treats. PetFoodDirect.com has some treats like the Halo brand.

I buy Real Food Toppers from a local pet store. It's kind of pricey (~$15) but the bag contains large chunks of chicken or salmon (they are easily broken into smaller pieces) and plenty of "powder" at the bottom that is great for sprinkling on top of food.

Freeze dried raw makes good treats, too. Just look for a grain-free brand. I use Stella and Chewy's.

Steph, I just got Willie some Pure Bites and some Pro-Treats Raw Natural Real Chicken Treats made by Gimorn. Both are actually dog treats, but still okay for kitties. Even better, you get a much bigger bag for the same price as a much smaller container of the same product for cats.

I got both of those at Petco... not sure if you have one nearby. Their website may have them as well!

Christie, thats so funny! I ended up ordering Pure Bites dog treats from Amazon! We dont have Petco we have petsmart and they have the beefeaters brand but they never have many in stock and I wonder how long they have been sitting there? I can't wait to try them and hey free 2 day shipping can't beat that! I LOVE Amazon!

My favorite out of all & I have tried a lot.. are the Whole Life freeze dried.. I also like the freeze dried Raw..or should I say Baby does :lol:
But if I had to pick one, I like the line of Whole Life ;-)

thanks Nicole! Our petsmart has a huge selection of dog treats and a tiny selection of cat treats. confused_cat I will try to order those , they looked good and the only store listed here in Madison has a horrible selection also. I bet I can get them online though.

What is awesome about the pure bites is that the dog and cat ones are the same thing (the cat ones just come in slightly smaller pieces), but the dog treats are WAY cheaper!! Definitely check out the dog treat aisle for meat only freeze dried treats!
