Wet sneezes after dental cleaning

My kitty had his dental cleaning done three days ago. No extractions needed and other than very stained teeth and some minor gum inflammation everything is good. He has been having some wet sneezes since the cleaning and was told in the past that water can sometimes get up in the sinuses and nasal canal from the tool they use to clean. Has anyone had this happen in their cats, or is it just mine? I kind of worry it could cause a respiratory problem, but maybe I'm getting paranoid??

Maybe give vet a call this morning to see what they say and give you some peace of mind :)

Sometimes cats come home with an URI picked up at the vet because another patient had a URI.
Also, during the dental a tube is inserted into the throat and that can irritate the throat and cause coughing and maybe sneezing.

Thanks everyone. I was starting to think maybe a URI but his sneezing is starting to subside some so I guess I will wait another day to see if it clears completely. He was under a little longer than for a cleaning because they needed to remove a skin lesion on his ear and put stitches in. I imagine they can pick up a virus quite easily when other animal patients are hospitalized at the same time.
