Diabetic Cats in Need (DCIN)

Diabetic Cats in Need is taking an owner surrender of a diabetic cat, Hadley.

We need someone to take custody of Hadley from the Alpine Vet Hospital where he will have been boarded and transport him west on Route 66 about 1 to 1.25 hours. Foster Dad Don will pick Hadley up from you.

A possible transfer point is point B on this map.

The vet clinic is open at 8am on Saturday. We would like to get Hadley started on his new journey sometime Saturday morning. We are flexible about exact timing.

Oh my, good thing I looked at the map. I live in Flagstaff Arizona and we have an Alpine Vet Hospital on route 66 too. Thought I could help you out but I live on the other side of the country. Best of luck in transport to the new home!

I wish I could help, Venita, but I live in Texas (you already know that). I'm hoping that someone is close by you to help you with this. Wishing for a wonderful home and a safe trip for Hadley. He looks like a very sweet boy.

HEE HEE, I thought "Cabin John, MD" was the name of a DOCTOR !
What a funny name for a cat !

I'm on the west coast and we have an Alpine Vet Hospital here in Washington State,
also, So too far away to help.

Hope the kitty gets his transport worked out.

If I can talk one of my daughters out of their car for the day, I might be able to do this. My car is having break problems, due to be repaired on Monday.

*sigh* I use to live near the Vet office, I've lived in Silver Spring MD, and Woodbridge VA. Maybe changing the title to read a more recognizable town, such as Montgomery County MD, Alexandria VA area would help.

I'll post this request on my facebook, see if anyone has an idea.

The facebook page states that a driver has been found! Great news.

We did find a driver, and in fact today found Hadley a purrmanent home less than 10 miles from where he is now boarding.
