Hi all!
Just got off the phone with my vet and it's official... Tigger's considered regulated! We've been at this since April and I'm overjoyed that we seem to have found his correct dose which is between 1.25 and 1.50 of Vetsulin. He's happy and showing no clinical signs of diabetes so I'm very, very happy. He's even eating well.
I know this is something that's never going to go away and will need constant monitoring but it's so good to have gotten here and know that he's in a more controlled place. She actually told me not to test him too often which might have had something to do with me faxing over a typewritten curve result (and maybe another day thrown in there, lol). Of course I know it's up to me and I will continue to test him more often than I'm sure he's supposed to be according to her, but I need to know he's okay.
I can't thank you enough for helpeing me. Taking the Vet's advice along with yours has gotten us here and I hope I can be of the same help to newer members and anyone else who might need help if I can give it. Here's a picture of Tigger happily loving on his brother Bohdi to celebrate.
