WARNING: Mold and Shrinkage- Canned Wellness and Merrick

I have had malware from that web site; if you go to check it out, make sure your antivirus is up to date and that you have a good firewall.
 
To me it looks like the "mold" problem was due to the pop-top leaking. This is really evident in the 1/5/13 photo. That happens sometimes. I myself would not be overly concerned since the "mold" problem if very evident.
 
It's just something to be aware of and to be careful about it.

I have fed all of my cats Merrick and Wellness. I'm not trying to slam them or bring them bad press. Please keep that in mind. Thanks.
 
Any company can have issues with a batch of food - that's why it can be helpful to track the batch or lot numbers you're buying.

One fall, there was a Wellness plant with a substantially different mix and it caused a lot of vomiting in all my cats. I contacted them with the batch numbers that were bad vs good and they were able to identify the plant to take corrective action. They also sent me a coupon for a full case, which I waited to use until I could find some from the good plant.
