Thanks for posting. As an FYI, there is nothing on their website about cats dying as a result of being exposed to H5N1 in this company's food.

Just a recall on their site but there is an investigation. Maybe it was from something else these pets passed away :'( but I would rather people be safe than sorry in having the knowledge.

The company probably won’t post an animal has died from their food, proven or not—probably any company would be reluctant to admit that. Which is a shame

The articles I found stated that the virus tested in the food and the virus tested in the cat were a genetic match, so the authorities are certain that the cat contracted the virus from the food and subsequently died. Very sad for the cat’s people who were obviously trying to feed a quality diet.
