Hey Folks,

Today has been really good for Jezzi, nice blue color, but my issue is she usually eat at 6 am/pm. How do handle this? There is no way she will let me wait till 7:30 or later to feed her dinner, but her BG is super and I don't want to shoot her if I don't have too.

Bare with me please, I know I've been told, but with the amount of information on this website, some falls into the cracks.

Thank you

Are you at +10? If so , you could feed her now, wait 2 hours
and retest (in 2 hours, the food should be gone). You can't shoot now as she is still dropping

Didn't see this until now, Leah. Looks like she came up and you were able to give a shot? Also saw your SS comment, and hope you are feeling better. Take care of you, too!

Look at me Mom!

I'm so excited to see her numbers! She is completely off dry food and has amazed me by eating the fancy feast classics, and seems to really enjoy her new diet. She is more playful, more sociable, and seems to be really content.

I have to be honest with you all, there were a few days, expecially in the beginning, when I questioned the advice of people on the Internet over that of her vet. 1 million I'm sorrys and I will NEVER doubt the advice from anyone on FDMB again.

I could be happier with her improvement. I thank you and Jezzi thanks you. And now its time for mommy to crawl back to bed with a glass of ginger ale.

I hope you all are well, and enjoying your weekend. I look forward to feeling better and getting back to spending time in FDMB!

Thats fantastic on the food..explains too why her blood glucose levels seem to have dropped a little.. paws crossed they keep coming down!!
