Wait or go to vet for follow up

Wednesday will be 2 weeks since dx. I'm pleased with how Milo is doing with insulin. Vet wanted recheck in 2 weeks and I do have appointment on Wednesday. Part of me is wanting to wait another week. Milo like every cat gets so stressed going to the vet. I'm afraid it'll mess with his numbers. I know I can email SS and vet would look at.
Should I take this week or wait...

Start with the e-mail.
And maybe work on desensitizing Milo to travel.
- leave the carrier out with a comfy blanket spritzed with Feliway and/or catnip so it becomes a comfy place to hang out. have it viewing a window or door out.

Is there any other issue going on with him? If not and you are comfortable with home testing, then I'd cancel the appointment and do what BJM suggests.

My vet's been calling me for a follow-up visit for the last year!! I keep telling her I don't want to stress Dusty out but will plan a visit soon.

Send SS to vet. Both the vets at practice looked at. Said no need to come in as Milo didn't need any tests they'd do.
said to email numbers again in a couple weeks.
