Beenie has vomited maybe three times over the past week or so. Nothing comes up or its just a little liquid. Well after eating. What could that mean? Now that she just did it again I'm concerned. Nothing came up.

Some kitties build up stomach acid between meals and it can cause vomiting. How often is she fed? You could try giving more frequent smaller meals. Some people find that Pepcid helps but ask about this. Certain types aren't the best for cats.

Nothing comes up
Kind of like a burp? Maury just did this this morning. Vet recently told me use Pepcid (famotidine) regular strength 10mg tablets cut in to 1/4 pieces. Obviously, still check with your own Vet ;) if the extra snack doesn't help settle her tummy.

Wasn't really a burp..kinda of like a dry heave . She went through the motions of throwing up but nothing came out. Last two times just a little liquid, probably just water (that was several days ago).

I actually just gave her a few treats and she was happy, just drank some water. I'll speak to vet about it but I bet you guys are right its probably stomach acid build up. I feed her (all of them) the following schedule. Its four times a day so that she isn't so ravenous.
12:00am
3:00am
12:00pm
4:00pm

The close morning feedings are because of my male kitty who used to wake me up in the middle of the night for food. This has worked well for me, the automatic feeder is a life saver...well a sleep saver:D. I hadn't used them in years because how would I put wet food in and it hold up?!? Well got the best tip and I freeze wet food portions in baggies and put it in frozen. Works like a charm. I load their feeders at 9:00 pm and once at 9:00 am (if I'm home, otherwise earlier) and the food defrosts, stays cool and moist.

I'm thinking of making the 12:00 pm a little earlier so there isn't so much time in between. I've had to tweak this feeding schedule a few times.

Thanks!

Since you feed several times a day is probably not an empty stomach.... Might be a hairball (does she chew after puking nothing?) or too much stomach acid for which your dr might perscribe pepcid.

No no chewing after. Its funny the new addition to our household puked up a hairball today. Watched him do it. My two fur babies that have been with me twelve years, including Beenie, never puked up the kind of hairballs this guys gets rid of. Yuk :p

I'll keep an eye on her and if happens again I'll call my vet and ask about Pepcid and dosage.

Thanks Janet! I work in northern Jersey!!!..well at least when I'm in the office. Work out of the house most days.
