Vitamins and supplements recommendations?

Hi all,

My cat Martin, is turning 16 years old and I would like to know if anyone gives any type of vitamins to their cats that have diabetes? I want to make sure his eyesight, joints, body are all taken care of. Currently I'm giving him Nutramax Proviable Probiotics because he throws up every so often and I'm giving him Cosequin from the same brand. They're both powder and I mix them with a little water and use a syringe in his mouth.

If anyone has any suggestions on the best brand for Taurine, L-lysine, anything for his eyesight, etc let me know.

Thank you!

Omega 3 fish oil is good! I use a highly concentrated one called Astro's Oil. It helps with all sorts of stuff. I have all 5 of my cats on it.

I'll take a look at that one!
Shop | Astro's Oil Kidney Disease Care

It is the Advanced Renal Care Formula. I started my cats on it when my girl Skyla was diagnosed with CKD. Put everyone else on it since it was just highly concentrated fish oil. If your kitty doesn't have CKD the dose is 1mL per day and I mix it in with their wet food.

Edit to add: I use the Scrub for Indy as well. It helps with his IBD and it says it is recommended for kitties with diabetes and pancreatitis.

Thank you so much! I'll have to take a look at the Scrub because we think my kitty might have IBD, he throws up too often and it's always right after he eats so hopefully something like this will help
