@JanetNJ I really hate to keep posting these questions, but I really don't know what dosage I should be giving Victor based on his glucose number. This morning it's 363, so how much of his dose should I give him (His full dose is 2 units)?

Is there any table or set guidelines on how much insulin should be given based on the glucose number so I don't have to keep asking?

Please answer within 45 min if possible.

Also, I'm using the Relion Confirm meter and was wondering, if "E-6" comes up on the display, I know it means there's a problem with the test strip, but if you pull the strip out and put it back in and the message doesn't come up again, is it okay to use it or is it better to use a different one?

@H.M. Victor I know this response is wayyyyy past your dose time but I thought I'd still respond. Typically with that high of a preshot number I would say the 2units is fine to give BUT you really need to get those mid day cycle numbers to be able to give you a forsure answer. Without any data in between no one knows what Victor is dropping to, when he is dropping or when he is rising. Honestly those mid cycle tests tell us all the most information and thats when we can help best with dosing.

If you pull it out and when you insert it again you get the little blood drop, it's probably fine, but if you get a number that doesn't make any sense, it's better to go ahead and test with a new strip
