Is this okay for Molly where she has diabetes? will it increase her BG? She has furballs and I think that's the main reason she is constipated.

Yes, my vet gave me some when Molly was having frequent hair balls. I forgot I had it and googled it like you did. I see it's good for constipation. Where she coughed up that big furball the other night. I thought it might help dissolve if she has anymore

. Pumpkin and the Miralax doesn't seem to work and I add water in with her food

I think the mineral oil is okay. I read that in the constipation link

The was purchased way before she was diabetic. I don't see any expiry on it

its meant to make things...slide a little easier.

Directions for Use of Vitalax
Directions for use :
Place a small amount of Vitalax the cat’s nose or paws to stimulate taste interest.
Dosage :
Hairball treatment : 2.5 to 5.0 cm daily for 2 to 3 days.
Hairball prevention : 1.25 to 2.5 cm, 2 to 3 times a week, or as recommended by your veterinarian. For kittens over 4 weeks of age, administer half the recommended dose.
