Vet Suggestions....northern IL

My cat was diagnosed about a month ago with diabetes. I live in the northern il area and I was wondering if anyone had recommendations of a vet that would be great at treating a diabetic cat. I do like my vet clinic but I would feel better looking at all our options for her confused_cat

hi and welcome. i just wanted to say that you might want to edit your subject line and add something like "northern Illinois" or the city, state to the subject line as that will attract the eyes of the guys and gals in your area. you can edit it by looking at the lower right corner of your original post and there should be a button that says "edit". click that and it will re-open the post and you can make whatever changes you want

i know some gals around the chicago area for instance and can point them your direction if you're in that area.

What part of Northern IL? I'm from Antioch originally. My cat wasn't dx until after we moved away but I really liked our old vet. He's in Silver Lake, WI now, I could get his # for you if you're anywhere near there, or ask some friends for parts further south.

I am in barrington Il not sure how north you are but there is a vet called cary grove animal hospital. They have a website and facebook. They truly are amazing and have saved my cats life on multiple occasions!!
