vet recommendations for OKC?

Greetings,

We just moved to Oklahoma City a few months ago and I am not happy with the vet we found here; I know a lot more about feline diabetes than he does, I'm afraid, and I'm struggling to regulate our cat on varying doses of Lantus with an excellent low-carb diet. Any recommendations for a good local vet?

Welcome to amazing Okie land! We're in south central Oklahoma, we also have another active member in Tulsa - Melissa and Tarragon. Dale McPherson is near Tulsa too but she's rarely on anymore. Good morning fellow Okie! BRRRRR! It's COLD in Oklahoma this morning - hope you're warm and toasty!

I checked with my rescue friends and got a couple of highly recommended vets for you.

First reply:
My vet is the only vet I have ever worked with .. His name is Dr. Mark Reser, Harvest Hills. I am sure he would work with you on whatever insulin you chose to use, he happens to use Prozinc and that is all I ever used too.... he has been my personal and my rescue vet for a very very long time....I will ask a few of my friends what they think and who they go to as well! But I love Dr. Reser!

Thank you all so much-- really appreciate it. And happy to be helpful to anyone else in the area. I can recommend a great cat sitter who is also a vet tech and has a diabetic child etc.
