Barbara, you might want to change your post title to "vet needed in Hampton/Newport News, VA area"

Then indicate in your post that you would like to find one that has diabetic experience as well as the zip code etc.

Might get your post more attention is all. Also you could post the same post in the Community forum.

I will bump this up for you, but at the same time don't forget to post it in Community.

I hope you get some help otherwise you might have to just call around - ask the questions regarding diabetes care and see what they say, i.e., if they support hometesting, a wet food diet, curves done at home, etc.

I am sorry, hopefully someone will have a referral for you. Otherwise you will have to be the one to 'train' your vet with your experiences and what you learn from this board. That is what I did with my vet as did many people here.
