Hello, Anyone have good resources of a Vet and Emergency clinic in Omaha, NE? I been going to the Pet Clinic on 2509 S 140th Cir, Omaha, NE 68144. They have multiple Vets but I mainly work with Jennifer Osterholm. She is nice but does recommend Purina dry food and says do testing once a week. I don't follow that and give wet food and test daily before insulin at a minimum. She referred me to a specialist at VCA Midwest Veterinary
9706 Mockingbird Dr, Omaha, NE 68127. My Cat Oscar didn't need an emergency clinic but just wanted to see if she had some better advice. It was similar advice and even shocking to find out she thinks my Cat is overweight. He went from 20 lbs to 11 and now in the 12 range. Everything tells me he is 2 lbs underweight.
Is
Rockbrook Animal Clinic better at diabetes care on 2814 S 107th Ave, Omaha, NE 68124? Also, Do you know an emergency clinic if needed Oscar having a low blood sugar issue etc? Trying to plan things out. I think Oscar is doing good with home care. Trying the best I can with bad medical advice from Vets. Been listening to the Feline Diabetes facebook group and here.
Thank you,
