I am very very worried about Wiggle Worm. He was fine this morning when I left for work. He ate about 1 1/2 cans of FF. Now that I got home, he is just laying around. His BG is 239 and I gave him .5 units of PZI. He refuses to eat. I have offered him FF and also some pork chop. He acts like he does not want to be bothered. I picked him up and he cried. Hurt my heart. Now he has gone off into a corner under a cat condo to not be bothered. I am just so worried. I don't know if he is just having a bad day or what.

I am sorry that he isn't feeling well. There was a possibility of a tumor. Could it be that it hurt when you picked him up?

It may be time to get him checked out to see if there is anything you need to make him feel better?

Do you have a vet you can call or go to? If you think he is in pain I would consider a trip to the ER. In my experience if they are hiding from you it is usually serious. Of course I don't know his patterns so I might be reading it wrong, but I would trust your instincts. They can usually have quite a bit wrong and not really act like something is wrong, so when cats are acting like something is wrong, in my experience it usually is.

You might also want to post on Health if it is slow here and you want more input.

Hopefully he is doing better by the time you read this! :YMHUG:

I just don't understand how he could feel so well this morning and be like this tonight. He seems like he is very weak. Should I try and give him some water with a syringe?

If he is really not feeling well and seems off to you, I think I would consider a visit to the ER. They can find out if something is wrong.

I'm not sure I'd try to force anything in if he doesn't want anything, but I don't really know.

Did you try feeling around his abdomen gently to see if he reacts or not?

I'm signing off in a few minutes, but I will send good thoughts & prayers! Remember to post on Health if needed.

I really believe my Baby is dying. When I picked him up he cried. He just wants to be left alone. His breathing seems shallow

Awww sweetie :YMHUG:

Trust your instincts, if you feel like going to the ER is the right thing to do or not...

Sending peace & light & healing vibes & hugs

I am so sorry Wiggle Worm is feeling so badly. I can hear how upset and sad you are. I can't think of anything you can do to help without knowing what is wrong other than talking to him quietly and calmly, and hope that he starts to feel better.

I would probably go to the ER if you can. If it is something treatable they can help him, and if not then at least he won't be suffering. I know that is tough to think about, and it is hard to know what is the right thing to do. What do you think?

I just don't understand how he could be this sick tonight. In my heart I believe he is dying. I just don't want to pick him up and bother him. I want to be with him

I don't know a lot about it, but depending on where the tumor is and what it is doing, it makes sense to me it could be fairly sudden, if something ruptured or whatever, or it could be he has gradually gotten sicker and has been hiding it, or of course it could be something else going on. If you can sit with him quietly that is nice. You will know if you need to go to the ER. I've had it go both ways, you have to roll with what you are seeing and what you think is best.

big hugs :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

i agree. something very very serious is going on and he needs to go to the ER. the breathing and now the loss of bladder control, this is not good.

I am so sad to read this posting. I can feel how worried you are and how much you are hurting. I am sending comforting vibes to both of you. It is awful to be this helpless .
