Last night around 10:30 pm Monsty came up stairs acting all happy. I went downstairs after my shower and that’s when the **** hit the fan. Disaster. She went over to the carpet and squatted as I was getting a garbage bag to clean the litter box. We have 2 downstairs and a breeze upstairs. She tried to pee on the carpet so I grabbed her and she hissed and screamed. Ran into the bathroom, peed on the floor, ran over to the litter box, that I had cleaned real quick and peed on the rug, then pooped on the floor. Then ran upstairs and continued to pee and puke again. She puked downstairs right when I got down there. I am panicking , there’s poop , pee and barf everywhere and my cat is in severe distress. Rapid breathing and acting real weird. She suffers from bladder infections several times a year. Saturday when I got home from work she acted real weird too. Problem being because I am not treating her diabetes, I missed a UTI . I should have known better but we were switching foods and I thought that’s what made the urine smell and should have caught the peeing one more time then usual. Thought it was die to all the water I was adding to the food. I gave her cerenia with a small piece of cheese at 2 am , she perd two more times then fell asleep. Fast forward to this morning, she’s making biscuits on her blanket and purring . Calked vet and got antibiotics.
