I am trying to find some other foods besides the FF that are inexpensive to give Mocha some variety, and a
I keep running into...VEGETABLES :shock: A cat food will say it is grain free, but I look at the ingredient list and it has a bunch of vegetables in it. What are people's thoughts on veggies? Several brands have been recommended to me (not by people in this forum), and the people recommending them own diabetic cats, but the foods have veggies in them. Is it okay to turn a blind eye to veggies? I would think that you would want to avoid veggies, because they contain fiber and sugar.

On a side note, I have tried Wellness once before, and he wouldn't touch the stuff. We have since gotten his thyroid under control, got him to gain 3 lbs, and switched to Lantus, so it's possible he may feel differently about it now, but I am hesitant to try it again.
