Vacation Dose & Schedule Dilemma

I have three questions regarding vacation dose & schedule and need your advice/thoughts.

1) I will be gone for four days next week. My brother will be testing for AM & PM preshots but nothing in between. I use Prozinc and am using a sliding scale. I thought I would decrease the dose 0.20 units while I am gone. So for example, if Merlin gets a 265, I would normally give him 0.8 but with my new vacation dose scale, he would get 0.6. Does that sound reasonable or should I decrease 0.40 units instead?

2) I use a 11/13 schedule rather than a 12/12 schedule and this is because he goes lower in the evening and higher in the morning i.e. so, I catch him from going high in the am. My brother can only come over at 6am & 6pm. What probably will happen is that he may not have a shoot-able number in the evening but a higher number in the morning. Are there any concerns with that scenario for four days?

3) So, Merlin has been pretty stable for a while...until this last week. I was having a hard time getting him, gradually, to a 6am/6pm schedule. Last night he gave me the opportunity to just jump to the 6am/6pm schedule because he gave me an unshoot-able number i.e. so I started at 6am this morning. Plus he is also going much lower during the day/night with his "usual" sliding scale. So starting tonight, I have decided to test out and start the new vacation dose i.e. the decreased 0.20 unit. I only have three days to test this out so that is why I decided to go ahead and use the vacation dose and vacation schedule to see it it is going to work. Of course, he didn't have a shoot-able number tonight so I am skipping because that is what my brother would have had to do. Am I thinking this out right???

Thank you!

I don't know enough about dosing to give you advice, unfortunately. Maybe post in the Prozinc forum and people there can help? You might need to lower his dose in general if you keep getting unshootable numbers. Good luck.
