I have just discovered that there is something wrong with CL. I think its a UTI. The vet is closed until tomorrow at 9 am. What can I do for her tonight? She is getting in and out of the litter box and it looks like watered down blood and she keeps licking herself. Is there any way for me to be sure that it is a UTI or do anything for her tonight?

Its blood. I wiped her off with a Kleenex and she is bleeding. I fixed her a bowl of Fancy Feast with a ton of water mixed in. Made it very soupy to get water in her. She is in pain!
Anything I can do for her until 9 am tomorrow when the vet opens?

Only going to an emergency vet and getting her treated now instead of tomorrow. Is it just blood, or is there some urine too?
If only blood,I'd go to the ER vet to get it checked out.

It is a small amount of urine that is pink. I could not tell for sure if it was blood until I took a tissue and wiped her off with it. That was positively blood - not a lot but a small dab.
I read on the internet that some people crush up a vitamin C and put it in their food. I was thinking about trying it. A lot of people said they did it and it cured the UTI in their cat but also a lot of people said don't do it. I guess I'd better not try something like that without knowing for sure if its safe.
She has stopped getting in and out of the litter box now and is laying down. She would usually be asleep but she wide awake however she does not seem to be in any pain at the moment.
At 9 pm Im going to mix her up another bowl of Fancy Feast soup and see how that goes. I dont have a emergency vet that is all that close. It is about 45 minutes away from me so I think that I'll try and make it until 9 am. Unless at some point she really starts hurting and then I'll just go ahead and make the trip. I was about ready to do that and then she started calming down.

I don't have any experience with UTI but I wanted to send some strength and healing vines your way. I hope CL gets to feeling better soon. :YMHUG:

Sounds like a UTI or could be just cystitis (inflammation of the bladder). can't really tell without a vet visit. If she seems she is urinating a normal amount I would wait. The concern would be that the cat is block and can't urinate as fast as the urine is generated. Male urethra in male cats are narrow at the penius and this a lot more susceptible to blocking than female cats.
