Our poor baby, Bubba, (also is our late Scooter's nephew) just got back from the vet with regards to yet another round of antibiotics for his UTI, which the Clavamox didn't cure. This time, he got a shot of Covenia, which is a 2 week antibiotic. The vet suggested switching him to Hill's C/D formula as it's low in ash. We're talking about a very, very picky eater here. He gets bored very quickly with food. I've just ordered, and am awaiting on a case of Friskies Special Diet Salmon flavored pate, which will be arriving on Wednesday, and just found out that it's 2.5% in ash, which is .3% lower than the other 3 flavors.

Can anyone help me by pointing me in the right direction, please? Any and all suggestions are greatfully appreciated. Thank you.

I don't think so as he's not showing the signs of being diabetic (ie. constantly at the water bowl, and wanting to eat constantly). His problem is the taste of food. He gets bored of a taste very quickly, and I constantly have to try and find something within the same brand of food for him to eat. As it is, he has all 4 flavors of the Friskies Special Diet Pate flavors for UTI. If he was diabetic, I think he'd care less about the flavors and simply go to town. So, my search continues...
