Hi All,
I have been contacted by a friend (I am in Maryland-US----friend is in Toronto, Canada) who is, essentially, apartment bound and no money---worried about his 17 year old cat. Over the past few days I have been asking questions and made up a whole list of possibilites. The original issue he said was that she was, every now and then urinating on his bed. He cannot get her to the vet and could not afford it if he could--so there is no information. Today I was emailing him about inapproprite urination usually being medical and... when he went into more detail and started talking about how MUCH urine there was. Diabetes shot to the top of the list. Is there anyone in the Toronto area who might be able to talk with him or maybe do a BG to see if the cat IS diabetic? Once there is a definitive diagnosis it will be a more focused approach! Thanks
