Urgent. Alec cant walk in his hind legs this morning!

He cant walk on his back legs!! I started a thread last night but had no responses so had to sleep. Woke up at 6am unexpectedly and he csnt stand up. He has more strength in his front legs (arms) but no strength in his back legs. Please advise!! Is this the end or can he be saved? I'm in Pasadena CA is there anyone who can come here? Does anyone know if this can be improved or will I have to PTS I DONT want to do that if this is a temporary crash. His mind is more alert..his body is crashing. I gave him epogen Thursday and Monday

You must take him to the vet...just because the vet says to PTS doesn't mean you HAVE to agree! If his potassium is still that low, he's going to be extremely weak - potassium is what makes the muscles work.

You need to take him to the vet asap. It can be caused by several things. That happened to my cat Ricky and it was a blood clot
